The Lahserpatent.com website is hosted on wpengine.com. WPEngine.com runs wordpress.org software. The system is managed, so you do not have to install, upgrade or manage wordpress.
WordPress Theme
The theme is from StudioPress, and is called Associate Child Theme. This theme allows for website layout and publication without coding the HTML, CSS and Javascript. Updates to the theme should not break the website’s functions.
I also use the following plugins from Studiopress: Genesis Simple Sidebars, Genesis Slider, Simple URLs (all part of Genesis Framework from Studiopress ).
